The 'HP Print Bot' works within Facebook Messenger and makes it easy for consumers to print their photos, documents and files after starting a "conversation" with the AI bot. The bot is able to make comments like "Nice photo!" before offering a button to confirm printing on a connected HP printer, which brings some friendly human qualities to the inanimate device.

The Facebook Messenger bot is also able to send notifications to a user when it is nearing the time to replace the ink or toner cartridges for the printer.
