Disney's Gasparilla Island Grill is Serving a Mermaid Tail Dessert
Katherine Pendrill — November 15, 2019 — Lifestyle
With so much buzz around the live-action remake of the 'Little Mermaid,' it makes perfect sense that Disney World would be serving up a new mermaid tail dessert.
The colorful mermaid tail dessert was recently spotted at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa's 24-hour quick-service dining spot, the Gasparilla Island Grill. The dish consists of a mermaid tail-shaped pastry that's been dyed green and hollowed out. Inside the tail is a sweet cream filling made from pineapple and coconut. The outside of the pastry is also topped with rainbow sprinkles and a purple shell-shaped treat. As many early reviews have noted, this new dessert is definitely Ariel-approved.
Even if you're not a seafood lover, this mermaid-themed dessert is the best way to enjoy an 'Under the Sea' experience.
