These meringue ice cream cones allow you to enjoy the super summery treat, but with less of the melty mess. Created by the Rebecca Hubbell of Living Better Together and featured on Oh Sweet Basil, the cones are a sweet snack to savor during the last few weeks of the season.

The meringue ice cream cones are fairly easy to recreate. Kool-Aid gives them their flavor, so the dessert can easily be customized to reflect a variety of colors. The meringues are made out of cream of tartar, egg whites, granulated sugar and Kool-Aid powder in your preferred hue. The cones are made by dipping standard ice cream cones into chocolate melting wafers and adding sprinkles.
