The Mercedes-Benz 'Sorry' commercial takes a funny spin on the concept of death coming to call. Apparently your car can be your life-saving angel, and specifically your Mercedes-Benz.
This is a very simple commercial with a great concept. It is memorable, shows off the car and showcases how well the car works under pressure--exactly what the consumer needs to see. I applaud you, Mercedes-Benz 'Sorry' commercial.
Implications - With society so saturated with advertisements, consumers have become desensitized to their messages. The advertisements that affect them now are ones that contain humor or shocking imagery, making them memorable. Companies can appeal to their target demographics by developing unique marketing strategies which involve targeting their market's values, and reflecting them in their ads.
