The dream of an emission-free luxury vehicle has finally come to fruition with the Mercedes B-Class Electric Drive, which is set to hit salesroom floors come 2014.

The vehicle runs entirely on electricity, which was developed in part by Tesla Motors, the brand behind the first series of completely electric luxury vehicles. The earth-friendly B-Class Electric Drive will still pack the punch that Mercedes is renowned for the world over. Drivers will experience a 134 horsepower engine, a top speed of 100mph and the ability to go from 0-60mph in just 10 seconds.
