Meituan, the largest food delivery platform in China, partnered with Shenzhen Bao'an Airport to offer a convenient way for travelers waiting at gates to get a bite to eat. Before the introduction of the yellow and black smart delivery robot dubbed Little Bumblebee, people in the airport were limited to ordering food from vendors, resulting in hurried passengers picking up takeout, worried if they could get their preferred menu items in time from across the terminal. Now, travelers at Shenzhen Bao'an Airport can order online via Meituan, and Little Bumblebee will bring their order directly to their boarding gate.

Currently, some of the major chains participating in the smart meal delivery service system include Starbucks, KFC, Heytea, and 7-Eleven, offering a range of refreshments to help weary travelers refuel.
