Serve Robotics Will Star Delivering Shake Shack Uber Eats in LA

Shake Shack Uber Eats orders are getting an advanced fulfillment update thanks to a partnership with Serve Robotics that will see the startup's robots delivering meals to customers in Los Angeles in the near-future.

The partnership will see orders delivered using autonomous Serve robots when delivery is selected through the Uber Eats app for orders placed in the region. The order will be loaded into the robot before being set off to the customer's location. Users can track the progression of their order via the app that will feature a map, which will also provide them with a passcode to unlock the robot to retrace their order upon arrival.

COO of Serve Robotics Touraj Parang spoke on the partnership with Shake Shack Uber Eats saying, "We are excited to add another national merchant like Shake Shack to our platform, a partnership made possible through the relationship we have built with Uber Eats across tens of thousands of successful deliveries. [This] highlights the value of Serve’s world-class strategic partnerships as we work to expand our geographic footprint and deploy 2,000 robots across the U.S. in 2025.”
