The Meitu 2 by Chinese manufacturer Meitu is made to appeal to girls who like their phones pink, pretty and specifically designed to take selfies. Although it's not directly stated, the new Android smartphone has a 13 megapixel camera centered on its front and back, which makes it ideal for holding at arm's length and snapping a selfie.
The Meitu 2 phone is priced at a steep $352 and in terms of its tech specs, its 2GB of RAM and MediaTek octa-core 1.7Ghz processor doesn't seem to be offering much of a fight to its competitors. However, since it was announced, the female-targeted phone has been getting plenty of attention online and perhaps its centered dual 13MP Sony cameras will be all that's needed to win over some snap-happy customers.
