When it comes to high-quality medium format cameras, few companies are as accomplished and well-versed as Hasselblad. The photography giant is now looking to celebrate 75 years of innovation and leadership in the camera industry by launching a brand new compact mirrorless medium format camera, dubbed the Hasselblad X1D.
This particular medium format camera comes powered by a 43.8 x 32.9 mm 50-megapixel CMOS sensor that is highly similar to the sensor that eagle-eyed photography enthusiasts will notice was also present in the Hasselblad H5D-50c. The camera weighs only 725 grams, which gains it extra points in the portability and convenience categories.
All in all, the Hasselblad X1D medium format camera is a great product in that it promises to deliver images of the very highest quality to both professional photographers as well as hardcore enthusiasts.
