In a collaboration with the Mindfulness Institute, British Airways is putting together a travel meditation program to quell the nerves of people who are anxious of flying. The program will launch on British Airways' routes to San Francisco and London, featuring a number of guided in-air meditation videos to help passengers cope with the three most stressful parts of air travel: pre-flight, mid-flight and arrival.
With the number of terrible aviation accidents that have happened around the world in the past few years, it is understandable that so many travelers are unable to let go of their fear of flying. With the introduction of the Mindfulness for Travel series, this British Airways initiative is bound to set new standards for what comfort on an aircraft means, both physically and mentally.
