WHOOP is expanding Medicare-connected health wearables through Connected Care, a program that combines continuous health tracking with personalized guidance and clinical support. Designed for eligible Medicare beneficiaries managing certain chronic conditions, the service extends WHOOP's existing fitness technology into ongoing healthcare management.
Participants receive a 12-month WHOOP membership and blood pressure cuff without out-of-pocket expenses. The program supports individuals with qualifying cardio-kidney-metabolic conditions, including hypertension, using wearable health information to encourage healthier habits. Initially introduced across 14 states, the service is scheduled to expand nationwide within the month.
For WHOOP, Connected Care creates opportunities to reach older adults through Medicare-supported healthcare services rather than traditional consumer subscriptions alone. The initiative also strengthens the company's presence in chronic condition management, while eligible participants gain access to monitoring tools and professional support that can complement their existing healthcare routines.
