In addition to its outdoorsy gear, MEC's environmentally conscious values extend far beyond the retailer's product range. Launched in 2014, the MEC Homewaters online program aims to protect Canadian bodies of water through conservation and engagement from the retailer's nature-loving consumers.
“Canada’s lakes and rivers are great natural pathways that shape what it means to be Canadian,” said MEC CEO David Labistour of the ad while stressing the importance of healthy water resources for future generations to come.
