Art-Focused Hotels

The Marty Hotel Bordeaux Showcases Rotating Local Art

The Marty Hotel Bordeaux is a 61-room boutique property in Bordeaux's Mériadeck district and part of Hilton's Tapestry Collection. Independently operated, the hotel presents rotating exhibitions curated by MAGNETIC Gallery and L'Artillerie featuring works inspired by Street, Pop, and Muralist movements, primarily from local artists. Displayed artwork is available for purchase, with guests able to take pieces immediately or arrange shipping for larger works. The ground floor also includes a restaurant, lounge, reception area, and glass-walled business center.

The interiors combine industrial materials, wood paneling, vintage furnishings, layered textures, and a marble bar beneath Belle Époque chandeliers. Guest rooms feature industrial lighting, built-in bookshelves, and terraces overlooking the surrounding modernist neighborhood. The restaurant serves locally sourced charcuterie and cheese alongside wines from nearby Margaux and Saint-Émilion. It's located about a 10-minute walk from Saint-André Cathedral.
