While these twilight shots take over the majority of the series, which was dubbed the 'Night Project,' a selection show the urban scenes enveloped in complete darkness. With muted light at the background of each, Marilyn Mugot's shots focus on the illumination that comes from within buildings and the neon lights that come from city signs.
By capturing cities at such a quiet time, Marilyn Mugot exposes the hidden beauty of what's usually unseen by the normal traveler, as she shows her viewers what the unique scenes are like while most of its inhabitants are in for the night.
