The Maria Nila Hair Salon in Stockholm received a full redesign, developed by ASKA architecture studio, that showcased the haircare brand's personality with a playful pastel theme. The hair salon, which serves as the brand's headquarters as well as Maria Nila's personal living space, now invites customers in with a series of plexiglass archways that look like dripping haircare products.
The pastel color palette of the Maria Nila Hair Salon exudes an easygoing joy with an added dash of fairy tale sentiment that defines the redesign. The abundance of natural light and gently sloping curves–inspired by organic shapes–offer the space a friendly feel subtly informed by the art deco movement. Much of the furniture and decoration features custom designs from ASKA that align with the haircare brand's style. The redesign visually reflects and represents the brand while offering a multifunctional workspace.
