Marco Sousa Santos, a Portuguese designer who's known for his modern creations, is responsible for the 'Barca Lounge Chair' made fro Branca, a furniture brand that's based in Lisbon.
Using Iroko and Ash wood, Marco Sousa Santos constructs the chairs by utilizing a handcrafted technique -- ensuring that each is manufactured with the finest quality. What makes the pieces standout however is the unique shape that they take on, with the the curvaceous parts coming together to form a highly sleek look that does away with any unnecessary components that might detract from its modernity.
