The Maleficent Makeup Line for MAC Celebrates an Iconic Villain

Hot off the heels of last year's 'Venomous Villain Collection,' comes the Maleficent makeup line by MAC to celebrate Disney's live-action Sleeping Beauty remake. The iconic villain, portrayed by Angelina Jolie in the film, was also represented as part of the aforementioned villain collection, along with her evil contemporaries Cruella De Vil and Snow White's evil queen. It seems as though people can't resist the powerful magnetism of a nefarious antagonist.

Jolie's wicked look was courtesy of make-up artist Toni G and special effects guru Rick Baker. If the movie poster is any indication, the 11 products in the line will be comprised of bold and theatrical dark hues. For those who want to channel a glamorously sinister evil-doer, this is definitely the way to go about it. The Maleficent line lets us tap into our dark side -- because it feels so good to be bad every once in a while.
