Kandee Johnson Recreates the Perfect Maleficent Costume Makeup

If you're planning on doing a Maleficent costume for Halloween, a convention or some other fun reason, Disney's new take on Maleficent will give you an alternative to having to paint your face totally green to resemble the character.

Inspired by the upcoming release of the movie, YouTube beauty guru Kandee Johnson created this Angelina Jolie-as-Maleficent makeup look. Instead of being green skinned, this version of Maleficent is quite pale, less cartoony and more glamorous than the animated version.

Although MAC has a line of Maleficent-themed makeup out, Kandee creates her look using comparable drugstore products. With a striking pair of green contacts and an awesome costume designed by Vanessa Gonzales, Kandee's Maleficent costume makeup look couldn't be more perfect.
