Agency Beard Design created the makeup packaging for Sugar Cosmetics, which resembles an over-sized granule of sugar. On each of the cosmetic item's package there is an image of a woman's face. While the image wraps around the entire product, when numerous items lay side-by-side, the woman's face is revealed.
These images are made up of geometric patterns that aim to resemble sugar, which is a play on the name of the brand. Instead of simply using a vibrant, single-colored package, this brand decided to present a more interesting label for its consumers.
There are seven items produced by Sugar Cosmetics that include lipstick and mascara. Each makeup packaging displays a different face in order to maintain a solid differentiation between products. The color scheme used by the brand is neutral with small bursts of colors such as purple, blue and red.
