Flatev (short for "flatbread evolution") is a device that aims to help you make tortillas at home. Picking up a bag of pre-baked tortillas from the grocery store isn't hard to do, but you can never be too sure of how fresh they are, or how long they'll keep. With the Flatev, you're able to quickly and easily make fresh flatbreads, so that you're able to enjoy them when they're still warm.
The machine takes inspiration from the Nespresso machine, and has users insert a refrigerated pod of dough into the machine. From there, the machine heats up and presses out a perfectly round, flat tortilla. Rather than popping the bread out onto a plate, the latest version of the machine holds onto the bread and keeps it hot on a warming tray.
