The DoughBed is designed to ensure that the bread-making process is streamlined. It is a wide glass tray that is topped by a cork lid and a heating bed to form the exact temperature for the loaf. Additionally, it also keeps the dough proofed in the DoughBed carefully to have the perfect proofing every single time. This aids users in making the perfect buns, focaccias, brioche, pizzas, and more.
This is designed by Erik Fabian and industrial designer Jennifer Yoko Olsen. The two join and create the incubation tray for bread microbes that form the right thermal conditions. The duo explains, “The problem is not your dough, it’s your kitchen. Kitchen temperatures are often too cold for bread dough, and more importantly, always changing."
