Maguey Melate, an online retailer of agave spirits, launched a bi-monthly mezcal subscription service that invites members to get a taste for rare products directly from the families who make them. With a subscription, consumers will be able to experience rare expressions that are not available anywhere else in the country.
Every two months, subscribers can look forward to receiving two limited-edition 375-milliliter bottles of agave spirits with the Mezcalero of the Month Club subscription service. In the month of November, the service is spotlighting Felipe Cortés Venegas, a third-generation mezcalero from Mengolí de Morelos, and in the months to come, different producers and their creations will be the focus.
The price of the subscription also includes a donation to the Mexico-based charity Sacred, which will help to plant one maguey tobala agave for every subscriber.
