Filipino food company Ramar Foods introduced Magnolia Bliss Ice Cream as a lower sugar version of its classic Filipino ice creams. These new frozen desserts both put a focus on ube (purple yam) flavors, one of which is enhanced with the taste of coconut.

With 180 calories per serving, 65% less sugar and 45% less fat in comparison to the premium line of ice cream from Ramar Foods, Magnolia Bliss is a tempting option. The creamy yet fruity frozen desserts were created to provide a healthier way to satisfy customer cravings in a guilt-free way, all the while acknowledging that "Filipino immigrants are at higher risk of developing Type 2 diabetes despite their lower body mass index (BMI) due to their adopted lifestyle," according to a recent CDC study.
