As part of the promotions for the upcoming Quebec City Magic Festival, magic billboard advertisements were set up in various locations to perform tricks of their own. The advertisement features only the logo for the festival and a large red curtain, which drops to reveal that nothing is behind it at all, as in a disappearing act. Unlike many magicians who never reveal their secrets, there is a 'Behind the Curtain' video that reveals how the illusion works.
In the past, the Quebec City Magic Festival has also experimented with billboards that have parts that seem to move as if by magic. Just like those ones, this all-new billboard is just as bewildering.
In order to compete with some of the more dynamic forms of advertising out in the world, advertisers are introducing consumers to out-of-home marketing concepts with extremely eye-catching elements.
