The Madero Café by design firm Taller KEN fuses together beach-inspired and rustic elements. The neon-hued cafe is located in Guatemala and embodies a tropical design aesthetics that is brought to life by architects Ines Guzman and Gregory Melitonov.
In addition to a rainbow-hued tile pattern that adorns the cafe's floor, its other focal point is its playful facade, along with interior seating and tables that are also bright and whimsical.
Marrying tropical design accents with rustic furniture, hanging greenery, and an open space, this restaurant is roomy while offering a sense of coziness that most larger eateries can lack. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere is even more prevalent at night when its interior decor is illuminated by moonlight that shines in from above, and through its glass roof.
