Amazon's DeepComposer Teaches Machine Learning to Developers

Amazon recently revealed DeepComposer, which is a machine learning keyboard. DeepComposer was created to help teach developers about the machine learning process in an interactive way. Those who use the machine learning keyboard are able to access models from Amazon, but they have the ability to use their own. Users can also share their machine learning music to SoundCloud.

Amazon's Julien Simon outlined the system in a blog post, "AWS DeepComposer is a 32-key, 2-octave keyboard designed for developers to get hands on with Generative AI, with either pre-trained models or your own.”

Amazon has a history of producing machine-learning devices that were designed to educate. In 2017 the company launched its DeepLens camera, and in 2018 Amazon launched its DeepRacer cars.
