Smartphones have made an active push in the elimination of complex cameras, but the Lytro Lüm is hoping to combine the quality of complex cameras with the simplicity of a point-and-shoot systems. Designed by Michael Soleo, the Lytro Lüm takes design inspiration from clean, soft and approachable lines. These elements work together to create a user-friendly aesthetic that draws in inexperienced photographers with non-intimidating features.
The controls on the Lytro Lüm feature an oversized design and are naturally intuitive to use. A 3D glass display on the back gives users a clean and crisp view of their photos and presents all the camera's information in a simple way. The overall finish of the camera is soft and tactile and practically invites users to handle it. The Lytro Lüm will feature Lytro's revolutionary Light Field platform, as well as built-in WiFi, Bluetooth and wireless charging.
