car2go is Adding Mercedes-Benzs to Its Fleet in Select Cities

car2go, the popular car-sharing service, has recently added two new luxury car share options to its fleet. Though the company is most recognizable for its branded Smart Cars, subscribers in select cities will now have the option to take out the 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA and GLA four-doors.

The luxury car share vehicles are currently available in Toronto, Vancouver, Austin, Portland, Seattle and the Washington, D.C., area. That said, car2go plans to release more Mercedes-Benz models in other car2go cities throughout the year. The new vehicles all use the same system as car2go's Smart Cars, with a convenient app-based interface.

The decision to include Mercedes-Benz vehicles is not a coincidental one; car2go is owned by Daimler, the parent company of the luxury auto maker.
