Skylum's Luminar 3 photo editing tool is set to launch on December 18, 2018, and will come with new AI photo tools to help edit skin, cut objects and boost detail. The current version of Luminar does already include an AI Sky Enhance, which automatically analyzes traditionally overexposed skies, but these new tools will offer a whole new set of abilities to the application.
While the new AI tools will not launch with the release of Luminar 3, they will start rolling out just a month later. The AI photo tools for editing skin in portrait photos, improving architecture, automatically removing objects and applying image masks will all be released over the course of the year. Ultimately, these tools will aim to give editors all the tools they may ever need to produce stunningly high-quality photos.
