Last month, the Manchester-based bakery brand Robert Andrew launched a low-carb sourdough lineup.
Designed for consumers who want to reduce their carb intake, but not give up the delicious taste of artisan-quality bread, Robert Andrew's new low-carb sourdough range is a game-changer. The new lineup blends traditional sourdough recipes with new, low-carb bread-making techniques to achieve the perfect balance of taste and texture. The result is a sourdough loaf with less than half (just 41%) of the carbs of a standard loaf of bread. To start, the low-carb sourdough range includes two offerings: a sliced wholegrain half-bloomer and a four-pack of brown sourdough rolls. Both of the new low-carb breads are available nationwide through Robert Andrew's online shop and home delivery service.
