The Sara Lee Half-Loaf range was debuted by the brand earlier this year to help consumers curb waste and is now being expanded to offer additional varieties that respond to increasing calls for artisan-inspired food items.
The product range now features the 100% Whole Wheat, Hawaiian and Sourdough half loaves, which will join the existing White, 9 Grain and Honey Butter flavors. The prepackaged breads take on more artisanal inspiration, while their small size encourages consumers to buy less and combat avoidable food waste. The breads are arriving now at retailers in the US for $2.49 each.
Senior Brand Manager Nick Pitone spoke on the new additions to the Sara Lee Half-Loaf range saying, "Our new Sara Lee 100% Whole Wheat Half Loaf, Sourdough Half Loaf and Hawaiian Half Loaf give shoppers flavors they crave in a portion size that works for smaller households."
