The City of Busan Unveils the 'Finding All' AI Technology

On November 5, the city of Busan unveiled 'Finding All,' an advanced citizen-participation platform that leverages blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) to modernize and simplify the lost and found process. The platform utilizes AI to analyze and process photos of lost items in real time.

This system matches images of found items with user-submitted reports, increasing the likelihood of quickly reuniting people with their belongings. Blockchain technology further enhances the platform by creating a secure, transparent record of lost and found entries, ensuring user data remains protected while providing traceability.

“Finding All demonstrates how blockchain technology can add practical value to everyday life,” said Nam Dong-woo, a financial start-up policy officer for the city of Busan.
