The Lora-Enabled Temperature Sensors Reduce Restaurant Food Waste

GND Solutions, an IoT technology company, recently launched a new IoT device that will drastically reduce food waste and operational cost -- the Lora-Enabled Temperature Sensors. The device is able to monitor humidity and heat in real-time, allowing managers to closely monitor food conditions and extend the product's shelf life.

The Lora-Enabled Temperature Sensors are wirelessly installed into a restaurant's refrigerator and the device's battery can operate for up to two years. The smart gadget is able to accurately measure a wide range of temperatures, ranging from -40°C to 100°C.

This device is hugely beneficial to restaurants that reportedly waste $161 billion worth of food annually. The Lora-Enabled Temperature Sensors will reduce human error when and increase the efficiency of food management to save a restaurant up to 40 percent of its operational cost.
