TikTok is Testing Longer Videos That Give Creators Two More Minutes
Riley von Niessen — December 2, 2020 — Social Media
While TikTok currently allows its users to upload videos that are up to a minute long, the social platform is reportedly testing longer videos, giving its creators the ability to upload content that's up to three minutes long.
The update is available to some users as an early access release, however TikTok has not yet announced whether or not it will be brining the update to more users across the platform. If the testing period proves successful, it's likely that the app's experience would change to accommodate different types of videos, including full makeup tutorials and movie trailers that are normally found on YouTube, says The Verge.
