'Lollipop Chainsaw' is a zombie-slaying video game from 2012 produced by a Japanese developer named Yoshimi Yasuda in collaboration with the American filmmaker James Gunn. Yasuda recently announced that the game is being developed for modern consoles, including the PS5 and Xbox Series S/X.
The original Lollipop Chainsaw from 2012 had 3D animation with a colorful, cartoonish art style. Yasuda stated that the new version will focus more on realistic graphics and realistic physics, which is made possible because of the enhanced power of the next-generation consoles.
