Little Bits' Space Kit Was Developed in Partnership with NASA

Little Bits are modular building toys that are like the high-tech cousins to LEGO—if this doesn't sound impressive enough, for one of its newest collections, Little Bits worked with NASA to develop The Space Kit.

The Space Kit comes with small modules like LED lights, motors, wires, sensors, microphones and speakers, in addition to accessories like batteries and cables that will make your creations run. All of these little pieces can be used for 10 projects (instructions included) for assembling Little Bits' versions of the ISS and the Mars Rover.

Considering the degree of complexity of The Space Kit, it's targeted towards kids over the age of 14 and priced at $189, helping to fuel the dreams of aspiring young engineers, inventors and maybe even some of the world's future astronauts.
