'Literature Versus Traffic' was a street art project executed in Brooklyn from the Madrid-based Luzinterruptus. Luzinterruptus apparently tried for Manhattan, but it's not surprising they ran into trouble.
'Literature Versus Traffic' involved the takeover of a Brooklyn street with thousands of books. The nighttime spectacle made an abstract statement I can't quite get my head around. Cars drive over books? We should pave the streets with books? I don't know, but street art is always fun.
