LiteBud Specializes in Cannabis Products for a Mild Experience

Vireo Health International is introducing LiteBud as a brand that produces lower-THC cannabis products to support mild experiences that are controlled and consistent. According to research from the University of Mississippi, the potency of THC has more than quadrupled in the last few years. Unlike many high-THC products that are available today—some of which are upwards of 25%—LiteBud delivers a lower dose of THC that ranges from four to 10%. As such, LiteBud says: "In a sense, this is your father's cannabis since its cannabinoid levels are more reminiscent of the type of flower that was widely used a generation or two ago."

Brands are targeting adults with low-dose cannabis products, edibles and beverages that help to create a lighter-than-usual high that helps to make socialization comfortable, all without causing worry of overindulging or losing control.
