Developing a strong LinkedIn community is essential for brands and business professionals, but LinkedIn is often overlooked as a place to host inventive social media campaigns. To celebrate its 300,000 LinkedIn followers, L'Oreal set up the 'Are You IN?' campaign as a way of recruiting new employees.
After visiting the 'Are You IN?' website, users are asked to log in with LinkedIn and choose an adjective to describe themselves with words like 'INspiring,' 'INfluential' and 'INnovative.' Users are then asked to describe within 140 characters what gives them this quality and share their response across Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
At the end of the 'Are You IN?' campaign, L'Oreal will share the top ten best 'IN moments' on the company page. Since they'll be collecting responses from some of the most ingenious minds, this could be a great way to secure a job at L'Oreal.
