Connected Communication Lamps

'A Play of Dependencies' Is an Light System That Links Coworkers

Johanna Pichlbauer and Maya Pindeus are the duo behind the 'A Play of Dependencies' light system put together with the intent of bring workers in an office closer. The system is built on an interlocking framework, allowing users to connect their own personal lamps together as a way to facilitate more engagement in office spaces.

Often times workers will personalize their stations and desks to suit their preferences, and then spend the majority of the day working on their own. The 'A Play of Dependencies' aims to use decor and design to bring workers together by creating personal lamps that can connect together. The design features colored wire with rounded bulbs that connect through an electric circuit. Multiple users can join their lights together to create different designs.
