The LEGO headquarters in Billund, Denmark will be expanding and will unsurprisingly be inspired by the popular toy.
The expansion will include the building of a large 560,000 square foot building that will have a "long term stay facility for traveling employees" and a large atrium to provide more space for the company's local employees. Designed by architecture firm 'CF Moller,' this building will follow modern Scandinavian design but will also feature LEGO-inspired accents. The space will be larger and more inclusive of face-to-face collaboration away from office desks. The office expansion will follow a yellow theme and will feature LEGO figurines dispersed throughout.
By incorporating design elements of the company's signature toy, the new LEGO headquarters will emphasize creativity while still maintaining a professional space.
