Each of the images features a contorted body within the landscape of everyday mundane tasks and chores. The series makes reference to artists such as Charles Ray and Anna Mendieta. And, without using any digital manipulations, Materazzi states that the series, “attempts to achieve a resolution of the body’s role within contemporary art.”
