Nike gives the LeBron 18 sneaker model a new design aesthetic in celebration of Chinese New Year coming up later this week. The sportswear brand names the new shoe "Gong Xi F Cai" which is "Happy New Year" in Chinese. The design honors good fortune and good luck, working in collaboration with 400ml, a graffiti collective.
The creatives helped draw the graphics that nod to Chinese heritage, adorning the silhouette. The Knitposite 2.0 upper is complete in a stark red color and splattered with paint accents throughout in black. Blue adds a captivating contrast at the laces and the back mold area. Rounding out the shoe are some cultural phrases and Chinese characters on the throat section and exposed Air bubbles.
