These Leather Masks by Peter Phillips were made for an editorial in Exhibition Magazine’s Leather Issue. Credit for the photography goes to Richard Burbridge, who has had quite a few photoshoots with scary masks.
All of the masks have absolutely no holes in them making them seem rather cult-like. The first mask in the series is a minimalist design with gray circles and pointy demon whiskers. The second mask is beige-colored with a red mouth making it seem like a mannequin that comes to life in some type of horror movie. The final freaky face in the series is all red and has a tiny mouth hole, adding that extra creepy factor.
There is something about an emotionless face that sends a chill through the spine.
