Laura Laine is a graduate of the University of Art and Design Helsinki, where she specialized in fashion illustration. Her work features almost surrealistically tall drawings of models with strong bone structure, but she equips them with sullen eyes and hunched backs. The outfits are just as outlandish as one would expect from a high-fashion runway show, elaborate frocks, highly stylized and accessorized.

It's this kind of distinct work that has made Laura Laine a coveted voice in the art world. Her work has appeared in ads for clients like Vogue Nippon, the GAP, and Tommy Hilfiger.

She currently works as a full-time freelance illustrator and teaches at her alma mater.
