The LARQ bottle is designed with a sleek and minimalist approach that's similar to many other water bottles, but features a unique self-cleaning element. It has technology that maintains the temperature of its contents, but also purifies it as well. It is common to reuse water bottles but the designers behind LARQ realized that tap water is not always free of microbes. The product safely allows users to intake tap water with its self-purifying system enabled with a button.

The bottle is a polished stainless steel that is also BPA-free -- users can fill it up with water, put on the cap, and press the button to eliminate 99.9999% of any bio-contaminants. Without being enabled manually, the device goes off every two hours to eradicate germs through a photochemical reaction. This is done through a patented UV-C technology placed within the cap that gathers 180 nanometers light to clean the contents. From a single charge of the LARQ, it can fully purify water for up to two months.
