Nature-Inspired Resort Lodges

Disney Unveiled its Lakeshore Lodge Set to Open in 2027

Disney unveiled its Lakeshore Lodge, a nature-inspired waterfront resort scheduled to open at Walt Disney World Resort on July 1, 2027. Located along Bay Lake, the property will feature 967 guest rooms combining natural materials, earthy palettes, and artistic references to Disney films centered on nature and exploration.

Notably, accommodation options will range from duo and deluxe studios to one-, two, and three-bedroom villas. Freestanding Lake Houses will feature "A-frame architecture, floor-to-ceiling windows, private waterfront porches, and interiors inspired by Brother Bear. Meanwhile, other accommodations will incorporate design references to Encanto, Bambi, Fantasia, and Pocahontas through artwork, forest motifs, carved wood, and landscape-inspired details."

Additionally, select guests will have access to 'The Artist’s Nest' concierge lounge, while the 'Hidden Willow Presidential Suite' will overlook Bay Lake. Outdoor amenities will include 'The Wetlands,' featuring nature-themed play areas, a lazy river, zero-entry pool, and spiral water slide.
