The honeycomb takes a fascinating shape that is full of exciting formal potential to designers. The Kriladesign collection of lamps takes full advantage of the bee-inspired shape to deliver a series of light fixtures for walls, ceilings, floors and tables.
In some cases, individual hexagons act as the entire source of illumination, becoming desk lamps and pendant lamps. In other models, half of a dozen, a dozen or even more of them are fused together to make imaginative forms both two- and three-dimensional. The nature of the six-sided shape has enabled pieces from the Kriladesign collection to fill out as open pseudo-spherical objects.
LEDs emit brightness from the many floor lamps and table lamps, glowing with the vivid colors of blue, red, green, purple and and an intense white light.
