Koala Tea Break's Layered Character Mooncakes are Sanrio-Themed

Instagram-famous and Singapore-based baker Koala Tea Break created these Thousand Layer Character Mooncakes just in time for the upcoming 2020 Mid-Autumn Festival, taking place on October 1st.

Drawing inspiration from Sanrio's Little Twin Stars characters, Koala Tea Break creates adorable mooncakes that can be ordered via her Instagram page. Priced at S$10 for individual cakes or at S$35 for a set of four, the decadent and Instagram-friendly desserts can also be customized with a salted egg yolk center for an extra S$2 fee. Additionally, one can choose from black sesame paste or red bean paste filling that is combined with a tasty pineapple character cake topping.

Available for a limited time, these desserts can be picked up or delivered with free delivery offered for orders above S$8.
