Bowl-Like Buildings

The Kirnu Pavilion is Made from Recycled Material

Although the building looks more like a giant’s bowl than anything else, the Kirnu Pavilion actually translates to “giant’s kettle.” Perhaps the kettles in Finland look different from what I’m used to, but I digress.

Designed by JKMM Architects, the Kirnu Pavilion is set to be the home of restaurants, shops and an elevated exhibition hall. According to the Design Blog, it “makes use of latest construction techniques to make life better and health in the days to come.”
